More boredom on my part...Collapse )

There is a bug crawling on me computer's face. Jeje, cute little bug. If I were small enough, I'd like to ride on the back of a flying insect. Like a lady bug, or a mosquito, or a butterfly. Or even a dragon fly...though they fly funny in my eyes. I wouldn't want to hop on the back of a bee though; busybodies who get covered in pollen. bleh... though there would be the perk of access to a whole lotta honey! Mmmm....

but anyway, I'm a giant now so meh. Until I can invent a machine that tinifies me... though that brings up another question: can you shrink atoms?

In the End...

Sep. 30th, 2006 | 12:48 am

In the end...

Before the music

around the table playing cards

smoking, want some of this? pass the shit around

and i'll fold

somehow, someone brings thoughts

around the table

Do you believe in God? I'll pass

and I fold Atheist, Darwinist, Apathist, Realist,

what's religion done? useless, pointless, bull shit

We're in war, Christ, even if there was a God

he abandoned us long ago

now shut up about religion

We're in fuckin' war straight hand

Pass around some more of that

Some air in the smoke waved away til your

eyes water and then

the music starts

cards flying

chairs knocked over

cigarettes with spit still at one end scattered on the floor

smoke so much smoke

feel it in your arms, in your legs

tremble tremble crumble crash

a clap of thunder drums strung on a high string

makes your head spin, makes your ears ring

drop down fool!

under the table roof crumbling

oh my god oh my god oh my god

lungs on fire hear the world scream

hear your friends scream

our father in heaven let thy name be honored

oh god oh god oh god

earth's shaking your shaking straight to the pit of hell

let thy kingdom come let thy will be done on earth

This is war this is war?

as it is in heaven what was the rest what was the rest

can't hear over the music

oh god oh god

forgive us our transgressions but deliver us deliver us

hear the bomb shells falling just above hear death unbiased

seeping to your bones

oh my god oh my god oh my god I'm going to die

please listen, listen please, to my prayers to my start over

our father who art in heaven, don't let me die!

Look around

you're not the only one

everyone's praying, too.

This is war, don't talk about religion.

This is WAR, pray God, please listen.

please listen, please listen,

until the music stops

woot on new layout macrapper.

I want to work on a comic soon.

It's been a while...I can feel my artistic skills draining out of my fingers like gunk... thick...gobbly-glob gunk...

Then again, it's like learning to ride a bicycle. After bumping into something once or twice, it all magically comes back to you.

I'm glad I've got some writing skills behind me.

I've seen some work of other manga-kas'(?) and while the artwork looks good, the stories aren't well developed yet...or they're too predictable with no neat twists on old ideas.

Cuz when you're making a graphic novel, you have to take into consideration every element of literature and combine that with elements of film. You have to use lighting, cropping, and expressions as well as point of view, style, and setting. Everything must work together to create an end-result that is pleasant and has real depth to it. I guess this is why the manga-industry is so neck-strangling competitive: a lot of mixed talent, very few that can cover everything on their own and in one shot.

Ha, I guess in that I'm fortunate: I'm average in practically EVERYthing one can be average at. So I'm "good" at drawing and writing. "Good" because two averages stacked up against eachother are impressive. Not as impressive as one insanely good ability, but still, it can hold it's own. So who knows--maybe I'll actually be able to come up with something a bit above decent? Ha, that would be cool.

But first, I got to make time.

Bittersweet Happiness

Jul. 10th, 2006 | 02:09 pm

Ah well. I didn't get to go watch PoC2 with my friends today. Bad timing on my part. XP Gah.

I should've called 'em at like, twelve, and gotten a heads-up on the time. Ah well... It seems today my timing has been kinda off. :P heh. No worries though. I would've liked to have seen it with everyone, but that's cool: this means I'm probably gonna get to see it with my dad. And for that I have no qualms! Yeah, I'm a daddy's-girl. Always have been, always will be. :) Sorry guys, for not showing up: I had to go to EPCC and get some paperwork done. Next time.

As for the happy part of my day-- I found a card I needed on my first look! Freakin awesome!! I was worried I was going to spend a good hour or two looking for it and I find it on my first try! Not even ten-minutes!!!!! ...happiness... T_T <--tears of joy.

Ah well. What a day, huh?

Ooh! I'm excited for today!

Going to go watch PoC2!! (pirates of the carribean 2...but dang that's too long to type out casually). I'm not sure what time, but still! Woot!!

Also, it seems I'm coming to understand Robbie more.

I'm getting a hang for his little mood swings (network health), and learning to work around the depressing 0.01% network connectivity frustration. Now I just gotta figure out WHY my network will die like that. And what I can do to perk it back up. Mayhaps some chocolate, Robbie?

Heh, I'm a computer freak. If my house burned down and I could only take one thing, I'd take my CPU. :P (this includes the tablet). haha! I'm such a dork. I don't consider myself materialistic, but when it comes to my computer, I go all out. :P Hippo Kritter.

Before the computer there was... lessee... television. before television there was... games... before the games... there was.... hm... I think I would just wander around the house a lot. Getting a banana to eat. Playing in the dirt outside. 'Course, that was back when this whole area was a desert and the ants were more fun to play with. Now they just seem to work all the time. ^_^

I wonder what it would be like to go back to that. No computer, a few games, little t.v....and a whole lotta exploring mother nature. No noisy cars parading past, either. Nor people for that matter. :P I know. I'm evil-ly antisocial like that!

Still, I wonder. It'd be nice.

emotional blurp of: awakeALIVE BABY!! ALIIIIIIIVE!!!!

Heee, I got tagged! K. here goes.

Once you are tagged you must write an entry about six weird habits/things (about yourself) as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next six people to be tagged and list their names.

Ok, I rated this on weirdness-level. 1 being the least weirdness, 6 being the highest.

1. I like to lick envelopes and rate them on taste. So far the stamped envelopes at the post-office have the best taste: some kinda sweet, raspberry-type flavor!

2. I like to put the radio low enough so I can hear what english sounds like without understanding it.

3. I like to animate inanimate object. i.e. Robbie-- my beloved computer with whom I have a love-hate relationship. :D

4. I try to be 'equal' with my hands and feet so that my left hand doesn't feel useless or weak compared to my right hand.

5. I sometimes spontaneously head bang even when there's no music around. "Cuz I carry the musik INSIDE ME!!!" or something like that. ;)

6. When I dream, I tend to switch perspectives and characters a lot. One minute I"m a timid little girl running in an empty subway, the next I'm a village boy diving into the reef. I go from villain to victim, to something of a hero, to an omniscient 3rd POV where I'm just watching everyone in my dream, but I"m not actually IN my dream. It makes for interesting dreams some nights. :)

K, I'm tagging whoever reads this and hasn't been tagged yet.
